Pears, as well as figs, are also beautiful fruit to photograph. There are no two alike, it seems. Some stand perfectly tall while others lean just a bit. There are lumps, bumps and discolorations which make each one unique. Here are images of two pears, both using Kim Klassen's "Thursday" texture, however, the texture in the color photo of the pears was enhanced using Snap Art by Alien Skin Software, the Impasto filter . The black and white pear photo was converted from color to black and white using Topaz-B/W Effects filter. These two photos are being submitted to Texture Tuesday-the number-two eDition. Which one is your favorite?

Love them both!
I don't know that I can pick a favorite! I LOVE the dark image...but the green pears show that great texture. Both are really beautiful.
Very lovely processing, Lynne. Both images are wonderful. You are very talented, indeed. Thank you, kareninkenai
Wow, love them both, especially the top pair that look as if they were bronzed.
Very hard to choose a favorite, each has it's own charm. But the second one does have my favorite color of green.
ooh, I love the black and white one -- I love the bronzing effect it had on the pears!! Nicely done! : ) I downloaded the trial of the Topaz b&w but never really used it that much to justify buying it -- I may be regretting that now that the sale price is over...
Love them both, great texture work !
The first one is special, so that's my favorite !
