"Comfort Me with Apples" Still Life-Texture Tuesday

For Texture Tuesday-Using three layers of Kim Klassen's "Granny's Cupboard". No special brushing away of texture.

Some apple quotes-

"Stay me with flagons, comfort me with apples: for I am sick of love." -- Song of Solomon 2:5

"Millions saw the apple fall, but Newton was the one who asked why." -- Bernard M. Baruch

"Ever since Eve started it all by offering Adam the apple, woman's punishment has been to supply a man with food then suffer the consequences when it disagrees with him." -- Helen Rowland

"Surely the apple is the noblest of fruits." -- Henry David Thoreau, Wild Apples

"The revolution is not an apple that falls when it is ripe. You have to make it fall." -- Che Guevara

Bonnie, thanks, I was hoping I would be successful doing that.
Johanna-thanks, granny's cupboard seems to be the one to use for the apples.
Mira-thanks, I was pleased with the texture even though I only used the one three times. I thought it might be too much.
Kim-thanks and thanks for such beautiful work you do creating art.
